As CEO of Vanguard, Ben leads with clarity, conviction, and a relentless commitment to raising the standard in the plumbing industry. A Detroit native and seasoned entrepreneur, he has successfully launched, operated, and scaled multiple companies, bringing deep experience in leadership, operations, and long-term growth strategy.

Ben’s leadership philosophy is simple: build strong teams, invest in people, and deliver exceptional service every time. His open-minded approach and emphasis on integrity have shaped Vanguard into a company known not just for quality workmanship, but for reliability and trust.

In Ben's spare time, what little of it there is, he prioritizes health, family and most of all being a dad.

As Chief Financial Officer of Vanguard, Mary leads the company’s financial strategy and operations with discipline, insight, and a forward-thinking approach. With nearly two decades of industry experience, she has played a pivotal role in building the financial infrastructure that supports Vanguard’s growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.

Mary oversees the company’s overall financial health. Her analytical precision and commitment to accountability ensure that Vanguard operates efficiently, responsibly, and with financial clarity at every level. She is widely respected for her professionalism, steady leadership, and ability to combine financial discipline with genuine care for the people she serves.

In addition to her endless commitment to Vanguard, being a wife, mother & grandmother are her most prized titles. 

As Controller and Director of Operations at Vanguard, Colleen overseas the company's financial controls, operational processes and technology infrastructure, ensuring efficiency, compliance and alignment with long-term growth objectives. With decades of experience in finance, management and cross-industry leadership, she is responsible for bringing strategic insight into the organization.

A results-driven leader, she strengthens performance standards and fosters accountability, playing a key role in sustaining Vanguard's operational excellence.

Outside of work, Colleen is the head of a very large family and a dedicated philanthropist. These values reflect the type of integrity and purpose she brings to her leadership.

Terisa serves as Vanguard’s Office Manager & Office Extraordinaire, bringing more than 20 years of administrative leadership to the organization. A key team member for the organization, she is a pillar of efficiency, professionalism, and care.

Terisa reflects the company’s commitment to service and reliability, while overseeing all office operations. Her organizational strength and steady support help ensure excellence across the team.

Outside the office, Terisa invests her time in community organizations, enjoys reading, crafts, and time with family.

Mike brings over 30 years of plumbing expertise to Vanguard. Mike is a staple in our foundation as well as our Senior Plumbing Specialist. Known for his precision, professionalism, and commitment to excellence, Mike delivers high-quality workmanship and reliable solutions - consistently on every project.

A trusted resource for both clients and colleagues, Mike combines leadership in the field with a dedication to educating and serving customers. A devoted family man, he also brings a positive, team-oriented spirit that strengthens Vanguard’s culture.

Douglas has worked in the trades for over 30 years, starting in construction alongside his father at age 11. At Vanguard Plumbing & Power Jetting, Doug's focus is on delivering clean, professional, and reliable service. He's  a lifelong learner and outdoor enthusiast who also keeps up with the latest in AI to ensure we work as efficiently as possible.
